With the current slowdown in the Chinese economy there are widespread fears that it will have a severe impact on global economic prospects.
Gill Mcelhannan, Managing Director of Thermaset Ltd said:
“There’s no denying that market conditions are challenging but we are looking to announce in more detail – later this year – plans for the redevelopment of our research and development facilities to accommodate a training school and showroom facility. This will allow us to show the latest products and innovations within the powder coating industry and enable us to enhance the overall experience of our customers.
This year is going to be a very significant one for Thermaset – not only marking huge expansion plans, but also to include ‘collaborations’ with major universities, which will enable us to compete and penetrate new markets through new products and technology. In addition, we will continue invest in the development and training of our people who are so vital to the success of our business.”
“We supply powder coatings to a wide range of customers including automotive manufacturers, architects, furniture and household goods, garden equipment suppliers, sports equipment and many more.
Key to building our business is targeting new markets and reaching the specifiers is vital. This year we are exhibiting at Ecobuild (Stand E6090) at Excel London (March 8-10) for the first time.”
Qualicoat Accreditation
ISO 14001 Certification
Thermaset has sought to establish a reputation in the powder coating sector for its stability and reliability; and has one of the country’s biggest ranges of stock powders available for next day delivery across the UK.
Thermaset, which has Qualicoat Accreditation, is working towards the international standard ISO 14001 Certification, and is therefore putting environmental management at the heart of its business. The company provides technical advice on selecting the most suitable product for a given application from thousands of formulations and offers a bespoke colour matching service.
In January 2016 the company launched a new suite of individual A4 product brochures covering Thermaset’s Spectra range and Ripple Finishes, a description of its Hygienilac Antibacterial powder coatings and a Stock Range brochure.
The specification brochures include four pages of product samples demonstrating the extensive ranges of RAL colours and finishes available. The Spectra range from Thermaset is new to the market and is a collection of diverse finishes which are an exciting alternative to standard RAL and BS colours.
Thermaset’s tactile ripple finishes are also imaginatively presented demonstrating their decorative qualities for applications such as shop fittings, garage doors, office equipment and much more.
The Hygienilac Antibacterial brochure gives the reader the full low down on this UV stable anti-bacterial product which does not employ silver technology. The brochure outlines the science, comparisons with silver technology, the mechanism of action, and the extent of the range of coatings.
